ANTHONY
NOEL
Originally trained in the decorative arts at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, then as an actor gaining experience in stage design; for the last fifteen years Anthony has been designing gardens. His great passion is for gardens, art and architecture, strongly reflected in his design approach; using ideas that transcend the test of time. His style is classical (whether ancient or modern) with a dash of theatre, and a number of commissions come from the worlds of music, theatre and television. Among others gardens, Anthony is currently working on re-designing and re-planting the great borders at Renishaw Hall, near Sheffield, home of the Sitwell family for nearly 400 years. From its early stages, to be seen from the beginning of the season in March, the full effects of the work will gradually unfold over the summer, "... a rare opportunity to observe how the skill of a gardener and the taste and flair of a designer blend with the vision of an owner with taste to restore one of the most original and visually harmonious gardens in the country..." |
